Frequently Asked Questions
What is your cancellation policy?
Please review this cancellation policy before booking your appointment with DC Esthetics.
We ask that you please reschedule or cancel at least 72 hours before your appointment start time or you may be charged a cancellation fee of 100% the price of your scheduled appointment. A 72 hour reschedule/cancellation notice is required for all appointments. If you need to cancel your appointment please respectfully do so with 72 hours notice to avoid a late cancellation fee. If you cancel less than 72 hours of your appointment time, you will be charged 50% of the total scheduled service. If you cancel the same day of your appointment or now show your appointment, you will be charged 100% of the total scheduled service. If the card is declined, you cannot make a future appointment until the fee is paid.
There is a 15 minute grace period. In order to not disturb the following clients appointment, your session will be shortened and you will still be charged for the full service. If you are more then 15 minutes late to your appointment, you may be asked to reschedule and you will be charged a no-show fee of 100% of the service.
Sick Policy: If you are feeling unwell or tested positive for COVID please contact us via email/text to reschedule your appointment immediately. Any appointments cancelled under the 72 hour window due to COVID will require proof with a COVID test that needs to be emailed within 5 days in order to avoid the 50% cancellation fee.
Thank you for understanding and respecting our time as we do yours!
How do I prepare for my appointment?
Appointment preparation greatly depends on the treatment. For exfoliating treatments like dermaplaning, chemical peels or microdermabrasion, you will need to stop use of exfoliating products at home 5 days prior to your appointment (retinol, AHAs, BHAs, scrubs, etc.). Avoid sun exposure for all appointments and drink plenty of water. During booking, we will make sure to relay any important information to you so you are well prepared.
How to determine which facial to book first?
All new clients are required to book a New Client Consultation + Treatment, unless you are interested in our Acne Bootcamp Program. If you are not local or unable to come in for treatments you can also book a Virtual Consultation.
Which product lines do you use?
At DC Esthetics we have carefully curated a selection of professional medical grade, results driven products that are safe for all skin types and ethnicities. Currently, we use DMK, SkinBetter Science, Face Reality, Vivant, Anfisa, Glymed Plus, and AnteAge.
Am I allowed to bring children/guests with me?
Due to the nature of our small intimate suite and our insurance policy, children are not allowed in the treatment room. Extra guests are not permitted with the exception of a parent for minors.
What is your return/refund policy?
All service, packages and product sales are final. We do not accept exchanges or offer refunds on products purchased. We do not offer refunds on services provided.
